In a coordinated operation, the Samoa Police, Prisons, and Corrections Services (SPPCS) conducted successful raids at multiple locations, leading to significant arrests and seizures. The raids took place in two different locations within the village of Malie, as well as in Leauva’a and Siusega.
A total of six individuals, comprising four males and two females, were apprehended during these operations. The raids resulted in the seizure of a substantial amount of methamphetamine, totaling 16.41 grams. This included 3.23 grams from one location and 13.18 grams from another.
In addition to the drugs, the authorities also confiscated a significant amount of cash, estimated to be $8,000.00 Samoan tala. The raids further led to the seizure of various firearms and ammunition, including a rifle and a black pistol.
