SPPCS Officers Play Crucial Role in Samoa Independence Day Celebrations

Mulinu’u, 3rd June 2024 – In the early hours of this morning, the Samoan Government, distinguished guests, and citizens of Samoa gathered at Mulinu’u to commemorate the celebration of Samoa Independence Day. The official ceremony was marked by the raising of the national flag, a significant event symbolizing the nation’s pride and sovereignty.

The Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services (SPPCS) were prominently involved in the celebrations, showcasing their dedication and commitment to the safety and security of the nation. The SPPCS Guard of Honor graced the field of the Malae o Ti’afau with their disciplined march, setting the stage for the arrival of His Highness, Samoa Head of State Tuimalealiifano Vaaletoa Sualauvi III.
