In a collaborative effort to enhance law enforcement capabilities across the Pacific, Samoa Police Commissioner Auapa’au Logoitino Filipo and members of the Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services (SPPCS) Executive extended a warm welcome to Tongan Police Deputy Commissioner Tevita Vailea and his accompanying officers. The Tongan delegation arrived in Samoa on Sunday, April 21st, 2024, with the purpose of familiarizing themselves with the innovative PolicePro system utilized by Samoa Police.
Samoa stands as a pioneer in adopting the PolicePro system, with Nauru following suit as the second island nation to implement this advanced technology. Now, with Tonga seeking to integrate similar advancements into their law enforcement framework, the stage was set for a constructive exchange of knowledge and expertise.
The visit facilitated comprehensive discussions and demonstrations, allowing the Tongan delegation to gain insights into the functionalities and benefits of the PolicePro system.
