A day to commemorate the departed and to see and respect the contributions and sacrifices of these soldiers in the sake of law and order.
This memorable event began with a march to the government building for the flag raising.
SPPCS members marched in memory of the fallen members who gave their lives to serve and defend Samoa, particularly Commissioner Auapa’au Logoitino Filipo and the Executive Management.
Following that, a special service was held, with the distinguished members’ families, friends, and invited visitors in attendance to witness this important event.
Former Commissioners were also welcomed as guests to commemorate this special day.
The keynote talk was made by Minister Faualo Harry Schuster.
“Today, we remember those who have passed and rejoice in those who remain.”
“In unity we look back and salute those who have served the SPPCS with pride and honour” , he said.
Families of this year’s honored departed were in attendance to receive a token of appreciation for their sacrifice and devotion.
Happy Remembrance Day
