As the District gears up for their final portfolio meeting for 2023, Commissioner Auapa’au Logoitino Filipo presented and handed over a vessel to the Savai’i Outposts this morning. This vessel will serve as an invaluable asset to the Savai’i outposts, assisting them in their operations, including rescue operations and patrolling.
During the handover ceremony, Assistant Commissioner Galumalemana Eneliko Ta’eu expressed his gratitude to the Commissioner for this invaluable gift. He also acknowledged Australian Defence Force for their assistance in making the vessel a reality for the Savai’i outpost.
The vessel arrives at a crucial time as SPPCS prepares for the festive season. With its capabilities, it will greatly enhance the outpost’s ability to perform its duties and ensure the safety and security of the Savai’i community.
