On January 17, 2024, the Samoa Police, Prisons, and Corrections Services (SPPCS) joined forces with Samoa Fire and Emergency Services Authorities (SFESA) and the Office of the Electoral Commission (OEC) for a special church service at the Prayer House in Mt. Vaea, Lalovaea.
During the service, Rev. Elder Efu Efu shared a powerful message, reminding everyone that with God’s presence, they can overcome challenges in the coming year. He drew inspiration from the gospel of Mark, emphasizing the importance of faith in facing obstacles.
Honorable Deputy Prime Minister Tuala Iosefo Ponifasio attended the ceremony, alongside other cabinet members. Police Commissioner Auapa’au Logoitino Filipo and SFESA Commissioner Tanuvasa Petone Mauga were also present, receiving words of encouragement from Rev. Elder Efu Efu about preparing for the journey ahead in 2024.
