Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services (‘SPPCS’) Community Engagement Unit and Police Band were part of the first day of the National University of Samoa orientation.
Community Engagement Unit conducted awareness presentations to Foundations students about the laws but especially alcohol and drugs. Police emphasized on the impact of a criminal conviction on future prospects for any students and overseas opportunities and advised the new students to prioritize their education and remember the sacrifice of parents and loved ones as they start their educational journey this year.
In addition, the Police Royal Band also performed for the students and staff with songs to keep them entertained but also to showcase a career pathway that Samoa Police can offer to students who have talents in music.
SPPCS wishes all our NUS students and staff the best throughout this year.
Working together for a safe and prosperous Samoa.
