As of this time, SPS wishes to advise that four prisoners have been captured and are listed as follows:
1. Simanu’a Manuele
2. Daniel Vailopa
3. Visesio Aso
4. Isaia Liuafi
In light of the above, we acknowledge the assistance of the villages of Faleseela and Fasitoo-uta for their support in capturing of these escapees.
We also greatly appreciate the assistance and support of the following Government agencies who have been working tirelessly with our staff since last night:
1. Ministry of Health
2. Samoa Fire and Emergency Services Authority
3. Samoa Prisons and Correction Services
Last but not the least, we thank the tremendous support of the general public for their continuous assistance and words of encouragement.
