Samoa Police Commissioner Fuiavailiili Egon Lincoln Keil officially opened the Samoa Police Service (‘SPS’) multifunction carport on Friday 9 th November 2018. The shelter provides not only a space to service police vehicles but also can be utilize as an outdoor shelter for fitness training sessions and possible meeting space during police operations. It is conveniently located at the SPS Apia Headquarters. The opening was attended by the Senior Management but also members of the Samoa Australia Police Partnership and Australia Defense who have been instrumental in building the capabilities and supporting the development of SPS.
Commissioner Fuiavailiili urged members of SPS to appropriately use resources provided by Government and our external partners to provide the best policing service to the people of Samoa. He also used the opportunity to acknowledge the ongoing support of SPS partners but also for all members of the Samoa Police who are working every single day (24/7) to serve with honor and respect.
