Inmates at Tanumalala and Olomanu Prison celebrated Christmas through performance of songs and dance to the delight of guests which included the Hon. Minister of Police, Prisons & Corrections Services, Associate Minister, Commissioner of Police, Prisons and Corrections Services, Executive and representatives from church groups currently conducting rehabilitation programs for prison inmates.
Approximately three hundred inmates participated in this occasion as they reflected on the birth of Jesus Christ the Son of God.
The pre-Christmas programme is one of the annual events for the Samoa Police, Prisons, and Correctional Services and is one of many programmes designed for the rehabilitation of prisoners.
“Christmas is a season not only of rejoicing but of reflection.”From all our inmates at Tanumalala and Olomanu Prison, we wish Samoa a safe Christmas and Prosperous New Year.
