On Thursday 17 December 2020, Samoa Police, Prisons and Corrections Services has donated monetary gift, foodstuff, and other basic need supplies to the Mapuifagalele – Home for the Age for their continuous prayers and support of SPPCS. All members including those currently serving on peacekeeping missions contributed and put together the monetary and foodstuff that were donated.
The Police Brass Band also lightened up the day with a selection of musical performances for the elderlies. Over the last three years, SPPCS has conducted musical performances to Mapuifagalele. This event will remain as an annual event for SPPCS in celebration of the festivity of Christmas but also to acknowledge the prayers of our elderlies for men and women in blue to continue serving the people of Samoa.
The donation was received by the Little Sisters of the Poor and expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the Ministry’s continuous support.
Later on in the afternoon members of the Executive also presented food items and basic needs supplies to the Samoa Victim Support Group acknowledging their support in housing victims of crimes.
