A total of 146 auxiliary members comprising of ex-police members and teachers were sworn in at the Court this morning 01st of June 2019. The auxiliary police will help provide support to full time police officers during the Pacific Games XVI.
The Commissioner of Police Fuiavailili Egon Keil and his Executive welcomed them to the Samoa Police service (SPS) emphasizing that the success of the games is dependent on the safety and security of our international visitors.
The Commissioner in his final remarks highlighted the importance of auxiliary to SPS in ensuring that Samoa offers the best hospitality during the games. Commissioner Keil also utilize the opportunity to encourage auxiliary member to apply and join the Samoa Police Service if they wish.
