In a significant stride towards bolstering Samoa’s law enforcement capabilities, the Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services (SPPCS) received a vital boost today, Friday 26th April 2024. Commander Superintendent Daniel Evans and Detective Sergeant Peter O’Neill of the Australian Federal Police facilitated the handover of essential bike equipment and uniforms to the SPPCS’s Bike Unit, valued at approximately 7,000 AUD, equivalent to 13,000 Samoan tala.
Attended by esteemed members of the SPPCS’s Executive and Senior Management, underscored the collaborative efforts between Samoa and Australia in strengthening policing infrastructure. Expressing gratitude, the Samoa Police Commissioner commended the ongoing Samoa-Australia Police Partnership for its pivotal role in advancing the country’s security initiatives.
