On Friday, 8th March 2024, the Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services (SPPCS) participated in the APTC International Women’s Day TVET forum, showcasing careers for women in policing.
Deputy Commissioner Papalii Monalisa Tiai-Keti delivered a speech to the students about her journey in the SPPCS, and the students responded positively to her story.
She emphasized, “I’ve come a long way from Savaii and achieved a higher rank in the SPPCS, so you can do the same as a young woman.”
The SPPCS exhibited every section within the ministry, with female officers from each unit showcasing their roles.
