Regardless of the inclement weather, the members of the Samoa Police, Prison & Correction Services diligently performed their duties.
On Thursday, 9th of November, 2023, at 2:00pm, a Tsunami Drill was held by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE) under the Disaster Management Office, as part of the National Environment Week program.
Members of the Samoa Police, Prison & Correction Services were deployed to ensure that all the public’s safe relocation to the designated area.
This afternoon’s tsunami drill served as a crucial reminder to the public to stay prepared at all times, as tsunamis can strike at any moment.
