Samoa Police, Prisons and Corrections Services has rendered its usual assistance to our government and their partners and diplomatic corps.
Earlier this evening we welcomed Australia Minister for International Development and the Pacific, his Honorable Pat Conroy and his distinguished delegates for their visit to Samoa and the Pacific.
It is noted Minister for International Development and the Pacific and his delegates will meet with Head of State, his Highness Tuimalealiifano Vaaletoa Sualauvi ll, Prime Minister, the Honorable.Fiamē Naomi Mata’afa and senior members of her cabinet.
In doing so the visit will relatively “strengthen Austraila’s deep and longstanding partnerships in the Pacific” especially to “further progress on the Australia-Samoa Bilateral Partnership Arrangement- which was signed earlier this year-through discussion on climate action, regional security, sport and labour mobility”.
We wish Minister Pat Conroy and his delegates a fruitful and prosperous visit to Samoa and the Pacific.
