Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services Launches Training for Fifth Lot of Auxiliaries Ahead of CHOGM

Apia, Samoa – 24 July 2024: Earlier today, the Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services (SPPCS) launched the training for the fifth lot of auxiliaries with an official opening ceremony. This cohort of auxiliaries will play a critical role in supporting SPPCS during the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).

The ceremony was marked by encouraging words from Assistant Commissioner Leausalilo Norman Meni, who underscored the significance of the auxiliaries’ commitment and the importance of their role. He emphasized the dedication and responsibility required in their calling, highlighting how their contributions would be vital to ensuring the safety and security of the CHOGM event.
