Samoa Police Commissioner and Minister of Police Participate in Historic Voyage

The Guardian Class Patrol Boat Nafanua III recently returned from an important mission to Tonga. Onboard were Samoa’s Police Commissioner Auapa’au Logoitino Filipo and the Minister of Police Faualo Harry Schuster, who embarked on this voyage to represent Samoa at the Tongan King’s birthday celebrations. This visit, approved by the cabinet, also marked the 50th Anniversary of the Tongan Navy, highlighting the strong ties between Samoa and Tonga.

The participation of Samoa’s top police officials underscores the significance of this event and the commitment to fostering regional cooperation and solidarity. The Nafanua III crew, along with their distinguished passengers, contributed to this historic celebration, enhancing the relationship between the two Pacific nations.
